In NYC, the Brooklyn Philharmonic is still going. The Queens Symphony has a season, but I just learned that the EOS Orchestra is no more. The New York Pops, with Skitch Henderson conducting is going strong. Both the NY State Opera and Ballet have full orchestras. There is still a good amount of free-lance work in NYC. Wilmer

Beverly Sills managed the NY State Opera for a while. Skitch is very much alive. The NY Pops is a very busy group. The wonderful Neil Balm is their principal trumpet player. Wilmer
