![]() | Although we do everything we can to have 100% site up time the TM is at the mercy of our hosting company. We have paid for extra bandwidth and memory this month in anticipation of this contest but we can not guarantee the site will not go down at some point during the contest. The NYTC contest will not be won because of a server error / site down time. If the site should go down we will get it back up and give everyone some time to get back online. The contest will be restarted, and the time between posts will be the same. We will try to make this as fair for everyone as possible. |

| Re: NYTC Contest: If the site should go down. What happens in the case of 2 posts showing the exact same time stamp? I have noticed this happening on several occasions. |

| Fortissimo User | Re: NYTC Contest: If the site should go down. The last one shown would be the one to win, as they were the last one to hit the post button. Remember that the time stamp doesn't include the seconds marking. Thats why they add the 1 minute to the end. If someone posts at 1:30.59 they actually have to go the whole 20 minutes. You have slightly higher chance of winning that way, but run the risk of hitting the stamp at 1:31.00 and having to wait a full 21 minutes. Last edited by nplotts1 : 02-28-2008 at 01:29 PM. |
