| Off to PR and arroz con pollo Hey all, Tomorrow's my last day here for a while as I'm off to the Conservatorio in Puerto Rico for a week's residency. Lessons, coachings, master classes, clinics, and a recital/lecture/demo on Friday. I'm staying at home with my folks which means I'm going to have to buy a new belt when I come back and wear stretch pants for a couple of weeks. I just blew down the program and am figuring out how I want to do the lecture part of the program. The word "desculpe" will be used very often as I ask the audience's forgiveness for mucking up the Spanish. The program will be Intrada by Honegger Intrada by Ketting Legende by Enesco Rustiques by Bozza Sonata by Hindemith It'll be interspersed with commentary and thematic demonstations. I'm taking the 937 Bb and the prototype Prana 1, each with it's accompanying Slap mouthpiece. I'll miss you all and give you a full report when I get back. I'll have one more day here and then I'm outta here Sunday then back a week later. ML |

| Adios mi amigo and take great care. Enjoy yourself and blow them away. I like your program and really wish I could be there to hear it all. Eat some chicken and rice for me. (Even when I am in Manhattan, I have to hit Panchito's in the village at least once to have their "Arroz con pollo".) You are gettin' the real thing! Lucky you! Yeah, you better pack those sweat pants for the flight home. LOL. Safe journey and much success! AY |
