out to lunch, be back in...

3 weeks! And by lunch, I mean vacation. I just finished school (no degree, just decided that my brain was full...) and will be starting an almost fulltime office job on June 14, so I'm going backpacking in Europe with my best friend. I wasn't going to bring a trumpet, but the idea of playing excerpts from Alpine Symphony while actually in the Alps is too tempting... See you guys later!

-Jimi

Wonderful Jimi! Have an incredible time! If you haven't been to Europe before, you are in for a treat. If you have, enjoy it once again!

Re: out to lunch, be back in...

For me, playing Mahler 3 Posthorn Solo on top of a mountain above Innsbruck was amazing! Definitely take a horn, but keep it simple and don't beat yourself up if you aren't playing! If you have a lightweight single hard case, all the better - you can strap it onto your backpack....

Have a fabulous time - wherever you go and whatever you see and do, it will change your life in a great way.

Look forward to hearing all about it when you get back-

Have a great time--eat and drink what the poor folk do and you'll eat and drink well. Pop into an internet cafe from time to time and keep us posted!
