Just found this one today.
This is me when I was about 20 or 21 before I switched to Eb cornet in the band.
Check out the uniform!
I had forgotten how bad that made me look.
Check out the pressure marks on my lips.
This was in my heavy pressure days.
I had just come off stage at a contest.

I am now grey haired but I am actually lighter in weight than I was then.

Hi,

No, I was never assigned to Nam. I ended up spending my entire 3-year tour at a stateside Army band where I served as soloist and section leader. Some of my band mates served over there though.
