![]() | Amazing the things we see in movies...commercials etc. that show folks playing trumpet. One of the advertising on TV that really has me...snylin and laughin' is a commerical showing an old asmatic' trumpet dude... up in his attic...opening his trumpet case for the first time in years... He picks it up and BLOWS JUST AS GREAT (or badly) AS HE DID WHEN HE WAS A KID! Just then his son seen walking up the attic stairs...say: "DAD! I DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULD PLAY LIKE THAT?" His response: "NEITHER DID I SON!" The next shot we see and hear his son playing a virtual copy of that "smaltzie same..doo'wappatity..doowap, theme" almost like his father... WHY DOES THAT CRACK ME UP SO MUCH, BUT PUNCHES MY "GET-REAL" BUTTONS SOOOOOOOOOO BADLY? Gads...IF THAT DRUG IS THAT DIGGITY-DAG GOOD AND IF IT WILL GIVE ME A RENEWED TALENT EQUAL TO WYNTON MARSALIS OR A BERGERONSKI' THEN.... "I'LL HAVE WHAT DRUG THAT DAD AND SON ARE HAVING!!!" |

![]() | Re: This pic never gets old Ahhh Yes.... That's one of my favorites.. Here's the company http://www.advair.com/ It is interesting how when he speaks his voice is almost as gravely as Louis Armstong's was. Hummmm Gotta love the folks in marketing.

![]() | Re: This pic never gets old Wow, you would think someone from the photographer al the way to the ad layout guy would have noticed this before it got published! It's not like JPMorgan is a one man show. How many hands were touched this picture before it became an ad. |

| Mezzo Forte User | Re: This pic never gets old How about the commercial with the 100 yr old guy , still playing and driving to gigs and doing his house chores. that's pretty good. Doc Cheatam comes to mind as almost that old when he died. At least they are featuring trumpets, not bassoons! |
