Let's see...

Rick was from Windsor, but would not tell me where he was playing in Windsor, I live across the river in Detroit.

He claimed he busked in front of the Wndsor arena and made hundreds.

He said he made $500 a night playing in a Windsor jazz club. There aren't that many and none could pay that kind of money.

He said he had "An equivalent of a Master's Degree" in music, although he never went to college. He old aunt, a piano player told him that.

He said he met Miles Davis and shook his hand and that made him decide to be a great player.

He played "Screaming high notes"...yet said he could not play the high noye in "Feels So Good". (it's a high D)

He said he knew and could play all the jazz tunes, but needed music for some easy and would have to practice it a while.

He finally left and said he was going to Detroit to have a sex-change operation....one of the best public meltdowns anyone had ever witnessed.

And there was more.......that I cannot remember just now.

Getting back to the original question:
buy a Mac if you are not afraid of being different, or buy the Sony if you have tons of cracked windows software. You can get just about any computing job solved with either one, although the graphic interface on the Mac is more consistent.
