| That is one of the saddest stories I've seen to date. How could one do anything other than what this father had to do? Theft at gunpoint for drugs, gambles all the money away... sheesh, that's awful. At any point in this story someone could have been killed. There isn't a father among us that wonders (wondered) how his kid will or would turn out. What act of rebellion might break his heart one day.... I'll be honest with you guys: I've got beautiful, wonderful kids but it's the one aspect of fatherhood that scares the crap out of me. You can only do your best and pray.
