Posting Time Limit

I was just made aware of a 30 second time limit between a new post and the lost post you made, and a 5 minute time limit on duplicate posts. I was wondering if this will be turned off when the contest gets down to a matter of minutes between posts for the win, assuming it makes it down that far. I see this limit a possibly being the cause of problems near the end of the contest. I know that I, and I am sure others, would be highly upset to lose the contest due to this timing limit.

Re: Posting Time Limit

The contest never gets down below 1-minute intervals. Just say a slightly different thing every time you post. if there was not a time limit, someone would just continually post for 5 minutes, by means of a script, and win the contest easily.

Re: Posting Time Limit

you cant have a duplicate message in a time limit of 5 minutes, meaning you will actually have to type something other than NYTC if you are in the under 5 minute bracket
