I'm not in Canada but this is what I've found:
1. Yes, as long as there is a proper backstop.
2. No, must be of age to purchase firearm.
3. No, this is concealment and can carry stiff penalties.
4. Depends on condition. Can find good BB guns in US for around $40.
5. Best thing to do it go talk to your local authorities and ask them!!!

I have a history with bb guns or pellet guns...

1. For $60 I would get the daisy powerline 880 airgun. Very reliable, shoots pellets or bbs and comes with a 4x15 scope.

2. I shoot mine in my back yard all the time and it is legal. Unless your in the city or shooting something or somebody. If somebody calls the cops because your threatening thats the only way you can get in trouble. So if it seems you would scare somebody around, dont do it.

3. I carry mine with me to my friend's house all the time. Like I said, make sure its not in a place that would scare somebody.

4. And I am 14. You have to be 16 years old to PURCHASE a airgun but as long as your responsable with it, you can be as young as 10 to legally shoot it.

We Aussies had all our guns taken off us a while back (Port Arthur massacre) so we can only rely on memories of Christmas past etc,

So the closest we can get is a "Peashooter"... sound OK but accuracy and range still affected by wind velocity. :)

Nothing semi-dangerous is allowed in Canada; your living in a state that is its own insurance firm.

Even their gun laws disgust any American firearm owner.

BB guns(air rifles) are weapons. Air rifles have a long history and at one time air rifles came in .50 caliber. Lewis & Clark crossed America with .45 air rifles(If memory serves me correctly). Be sure to use the same safety with your air rifle you would with any firearm. as for the price, $60? I'd save up a little more and get a Sheraden air rifle
