 | Question about BB guns Hi guys, I got a question about BB guns in Canada, British Columbia. 1) Is it legal to shoot a BB gun in your own backyard? 2) Is it ok for a minor (under 18) to own one? 3) Is it ok to bring it into a public place and have it in your backpack/pocket and not take it out? 4) Is buying a full metal BB gun $60 USD a ripoff or a good deal? Thanks. |

  | Re: Question about BB guns Don't know anything about the laws in Canada, but most BB guns in the U.S. are under $40.00, unless you go for the Daisy Avanti Chamion (the most accurate BB gun in the world, around $120) or a Gamo Hunter Extreme, which has a velocity of 1600 fps (sound barrier stuff) around $500. You can check out your proposed buy at Air Rifle Hunting: Air Rifle Parts by Crossman, Gamo Air Rifles. Don't forget your trumpet--though not lethal, you can use it to get violists to jump out of their chairs, waaay more fun than shooting squirrels!

| Re: Question about BB guns your best bet is to check with the local authorities. Not only do laws vary from provence to provence, laws change over time. |
