![]() ![]() | Question for Rowuk So, my man......why is that you feel the need to chime in on almost EVERY thread? I know you think you know all this stuff because you play in some community band and all, but seriously....McCandless is a lot more interesting than you. Come to think of it, most peeps are. Why don't you try asking more questions and giving fewer answers. Things like nitpicking someone over a full breath being relaxed or not just makes you sound ignorant. People know what's meant by that. They don't need to have their semantics corrected by amatuer in a forum moderated by a professional. So, yo, can you chill a little bit and let other peeps get a few words in? Love, Huggy |

| Mezzo Forte User | Re: Question for Rowuk You don't have to read his posts. Honestly I can't think of a thread where Rowuk has been unkind or has given bad advice. Really good way to start off here. 3 posts into your posting career and you are already flaming one of the most knowledgeable contributors here. |

| Re: Question for Rowuk Huggy bear .... lol. Wasn't that the name of a pimp in some horrible grade-B movie like The Star Chamber. Rowuk knows stuff. He teaches people, who learn well and quickly. If I were rich enough to move to Germany and take lessons from him I would. He's a huge asset to this site. |

| Re: Question for Rowuk huggy - I hope your post was tongue-in-cheek, I would hate to think that you are actually that bitter of a person to attack a very knowlegable person who willing helps the rest of us for free. Dave |

If my posts are not interesting, feel free to ignore them. Your assumption that I only play in a community band or am not a professional is wrong as most that follow my posts over time realize. I only post on things that I have professionally experienced first hand. It is actually a non-arguement, but in an OPEN internet forum, you take what you get. That includes you and me. As far as the semantics of breathing, answer me this: why, if there is so much GREAT advice out there, is breathing still THE number one problem of all wind players. I guess most people do not understand AND there is not that much really easy to understand advice out there. So much for your hypothesis. Do a search here on "circle of breath".I think that is harder to get wrong! The "advice" that you claim to understand was probably very helpful for those that attended the clinic. Generally you get the context explained and the list keeps the major points documented for future reference. Out of context-like it is presented here, it is not clear and even misleading. So, I hear what you are saying and have qualified your point of view as relevant to you. Chime in with something sensible to say and we will all profit. TM is what WE make it. | |

| Mezzo Piano User | Re: Question for Rowuk I don't see Huggy Bear providing us with any advice at all. So even if Rowuk's advice are not 100% of what *I* believe is right, I'll still choose him over you since all you've done so far is whine. I hate Whiners. |
