Yeah, he truly was one of a kind.

You know, thinking back, I can remember thinking back when he was still the correspondant in London that one day he would ascend to being the anchor man, or at least that I felt he would be great in that position - he proved me and the rest of the world right on that one.

I am almost devastated that jennings is gone, he truly was the voice of worldwide "news" i mean all the world events that have happened in my lifetime he has informed me about. He anchored for 60 HOURS the week of 9/11, that is incredible, i will miss hearing him say, this is Peter Jennings, goodnight.
