This is another one of those cases that demonstrates that many people have no business going up there. Guides have a huge financial pressure to get climbers to the top and many folks with 100K are taken up there even if they really aren't capable. Many capable climbers have died as well. It's a dangerous place.

I dunno. I have never attempted to scale a mountain much less everest. BUT YOU DO NOT LEAVE YOUR FRIENDS BEHIND.

You haul them out, or you die trying.

All the clowns that went by him w/out rendering aid ought to be shot.

That is all.

Yeah No Kidding...

I guess that people just don't give a crap about each other any more..

Frist off; you'd never see me attempting to scale Everest.. However if I did and I came accros someone in need of aid... Climbs over; the new mission is to save this persons life; or to coin 40cal's phrase die trying.

Too bad... Those other people just plain suck as human beings!

Alex Yates has a little shameless behaviour in the past
I find this almost inconceivable. I could never "leave" someone like that. It is heartbreaking.

The general attitude of the "Me First" generation?

This is sad. I hope those people who passed him by without helping cannot sleep at night.
