| Piano User | Sight Reading Exercise... Some of you might have seen this before... For one of my units during my student teaching, I wrote a sight reading exercise. If anyone is interested in taking a look at it/possibly using it and giving me some feedback, go ahead and e-mail me. I put a ton of work into it, and it would be nice to see if anyone would actually find it useful. It is a 14 page exercise. A run down is that it takes you through Major/Minor Keys while with each new key introducing a new rhythm while also keeping in touch with all rhythms already learned/introduced. It doesn't go through every possible key because I have it arranged to be played with all the major band instruments together at the same time, but the keys that it does touch on it works on interval recognition and places a lot of emphasis on recognizing thirds/step intervals. E-Mail is heartswing17@yahoo.com
