| So sad, Dana Reeves The wife of Christopher Reeves, Dana, died of lung cancer.....she was only 44. It breaks my heart. She stood by her husband and was a pillar of light and strength for him through his devestating illness. If there is a heaven, I hope they are together now. I also hope the heavens help guide the son they left behind. It also makes you wonder, how could the heavens allow this to happen? It is heart breaking. Nothing is guaranteed in life......nothing. My father-in-law re-married a much younger woman. She was close to my age. Well, she died in her 30's from heart failure brought on by aggressive chemotherapy for breast cancer. She was finally cancer-free, but her weak little heart couldn't take it anymore and stopped. It was yet another huge wake-up call to not take anything for granted. We could all be gone tomorrow. Some of you here have become very special to me. I take this opportunity to say "thank you" for being in my life. I also thank the heavens for music. It literally saved my life and kept me going through rough times. It IS my life force. |

| True. People here on TM are valued friends. Winters up here would be quite unpleasant without TM as a diversion. Along with what you said about life being too short, I have learned that letting go of hatred is so important. If we go through life holding a grudge or hating people then its like a poison that keeps us from enjoying life. I'm not just talking about people we know, I'm also talking about politicians, celebrities, etc. Its just not good to say "I hate so-and-so!" I believe its bad for our mental and spiritual well being, so I frequently remind myself and pray for strength from God to avoid saying such things. Greg |
