starting on guitar... maybe?

Hi,
I recently joined some sort of rock band, cause they wanted a trumpet player in it. problem is that not all songs actually require a trumpet, so I thought, why not try to learn to play electric guitar, and use that when I'm not playing the trumpet.
I've found this:

can someone tell me if this is any good?
EDIT: This is an advertisement from a local store that sells pretty much anything, but sells different things every week. usually it's pretty cheap for what you're getting. I don't have a lot of money to spend, and this seems like a good all-in-one package

And: is there free absolute beginner stuff on the internet? I have no Idea how to even hold a guitar

I've had a trumpet teacher for the past 10? years or so, and don't have money to pay him anymore, so lessons are not gonna happen. (not anytime soon)
