Mens Health magazine has a small section each month where a reader talks about what he has done to loose a ton of weight. It includes their eating and exercise patterns. I think its called the Belly Off Club or something like that.

I lost about 25 pounds in three months at corps, but I didn't really have to try for that to happen. They kicked our butts!

AWESOME!

I've lost 12 lbs since 7/20... and don't care how long it takes but I want to get back to my hs "double C" weight.

I do know that working out has helped my endurance. I played a 3 hour gig and decimated a double C# on my big mouthpiece tonight. I was a little freaked about that actually.

Keep up the good stories and thanks for the lead MJ!

Angry

I excersized regularly for four weeks and lost a stone. I stopped for four weeks and got it right back.

I'll start again soon I swear!

There was a time about 3 years ago wherein I had to go to the doctor on a regular basis and then to a physical therapist for long treatment of back pain. The physical therapist suggested that I go swimming as a treatment and strengthening endeavor. Since then, I have been going swimming almost everyday and feel great. The visits to the doctor and physical therapist are gone.

I also once in awhile do Pilates and just 20 minutes of that will be enough. They say if there is not pain, there is no gain. Some days, I prefer to have no gain.

In terms of diet, my I suggest that you all want to really feel good, strong and very much healthy, to drink wheat grass juice.

Just a little update here. I've lost 14 lbs since 7/20 and 4 inches off my waist.

I'm sick and tired of being lazy! This is a lifestyle change, not just a passing fancy. So bye bye french fries, cake and cookies. Hello fitness!

(can you tell I just got back from the gym?) .

Best to you all,

T

Trent,

You can still have fries and cake....just remember it's about moderation and portion control. Not to say that you can have McD's every day, but a "cheat" meal is okay once a week or so, or even a "cheat" day.

Yah! I know I can cheat but I want my body to start Craving the GOOD food, and getting rid of the desires for bad food. Tomorrow I give up diet sodas! That will be one heck of a hurdle.

We should have a TM "fitness fest"! I gotta get ready for next year's ITG :)

Best,

T
