The Target Story

I wanted to share a fun story about my 1st grader that happened over Spring Break…

My Wife was in Tucson with our boys for a couple of days (staying with her Parents), and she said they all went to Target to pick something up. On the way in there were lots of people going in and out, getting carts, and it was just generally a very busy area. My 1st grader stopped five steps inside the door put his arms up in the air (in a Y), and while staring up at the security TV monitor said in a loud, confident voice, “I COME IN PEACE!”

Everything got very quiet…

I wish I had been there for that one. I’m sure my little boy was the topic of discussion in quite a few homes during dinner that night.

Re: The Target Story

Very funny Derek. But also cute and a bit alarming that he felt he needed to declare his intentions....

I hope they were paying attention up in the security office.

It would make a great Target commercial.
