Thanks from Robert and Ruth!

I wanted to say thank you to the people who offered their prayers and support to my wife, Ruth, who has malignant melanoma.
The scans came in and the tumors have stopped growing! Melanoma is very aggressive, and so this is very good news. Ruth is on a clinical trial and it appears that something is working.

So thank you very much for your prayers and support!

Re: Thanks from Robert and Ruth!

Robert,

Wonderful news.

Bob Brookmeyer (jazz trombonist/composer) also has a very virulent form of melanoma that has completely disappeared with new therapy. Just fabulous.

Best,
EC

Re: Thanks from Robert and Ruth!

Masny thanks to you all! I loved the speech by Jimmy V.

Mr. Carroll: What was the name of the new therapy that helped Mr. Brookmeyer? Ruth is on a clinical trial with CNTO 95 , although we don't know whether she actually gets it or not. With stage 4 melanoma, you don't get many full remissions!

So could you please let me know??? Any information would be appreciated.

Robert, I am glad to hear that there has been some good progress. Does this mean we don't need any more jokes? Man, I was just getting started!
