| Things I learned at work yesterday Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks. I learned.... 1. If a cop is trying to pull you over, and you don't think you have done anything wrong you are not obligated to stop. 2. If you smoke weed in your car, and someone who doesn't smoke weed is in your car, it still smells like weed. (and your car is going to be searched) Hopefully today is just as educational as yesterday. |

I observe a moving violation by a 1997 Cadillac. I follow him for a minute + w/the whooper and lights on, when he finally stopped that was the excuse I got. Second instance was a gal I pull over, for some reason her car smells like pot, she can't figure out why though.

| Re: Things I learned at work yesterday Another brainiac today....if you are going to tell the cop your name is spelled, J-E-S-U-S at least know how to pronounce it properly. 40 |

| Re: Things I learned at work yesterday Ok, maybe he's just an idiot, but I can't help wondering: Is it at all possible he meant something like "I didn't think I was doing anything wrong, so for a short while I thought you were after someone else. But then it became painfully obvious that you wanted me, so I pulled over." ?? Last edited by hunsicker : 03-25-2007 at 03:47 AM. |

That is a fair question, the only thing I can say is when I want you pulled over there will be no doubt in your mind We also take in to consideration, traffic levels, is the driver giving us any indication that they will stop? Brake lights, hand gestures (one fingered salutes don't count
