Out of curiosity, does anyone ever use the chat here? I have popped in a couple of times and never seen anyone in the room.

If you go to the "Forums" page and check at the bottom you can see how many folk are online and in TM and of them, who is in Chat. Sometimes it takes someone to unlock the place and put some beer and chips out to get things going.

Yeah Mike I'd imagine you would be..... GMT is +4 hours from EDT so I'd think that you are at least 2 to 3 hours ahead of that. Let's see 11PM here about 5 or 6 AM in Germany? I'd be just getting up for work.

I've used the chat feature it's pretty cool.

I'm always in the chat when i'm online, which is pretty often, but I think at the wrong times, I just can't chat at 5 or 6 am

the 4-7h time difference is a bit of an issue for us europeans but we do connect sometimes.... right chuck?

Right!

Just check in the chat, or as Tootsall said, go in the room and wait. Someone may surprise you.

I have chatted with Leigh, Mr. LT, Frank, and Noel, among others.
Lonelyangel (Noel) will often come in after a gig in London, so he will wind down chatting on the TM, at 2 or 3 in the morning, U.K. time.

One thing for sure....If you don't go in the room, you won't be able to chat!

It sure is a great feature and a great way to get to know your fellow TMers.
