Mods: if this dances the uncomfortable line between politics and non-trumpet subject matter, go ahead and delete. It just made me very angry and I guess I'm venting. I feel as though we can't do enough to support our military.

I agree... but it's really just ONE jerk... and I'm glad he/she was fired.

There is no shortage of stupid people in this world and Fox News has reminded us of that....

A good move by this mattress company (if they can afford it) is to send several thousand matts as a thank you to our troops!

My local library has a donations for soldiers collection where I am proud to say I have donated cd's and funds for postage and phone calls. They collect donations such as socks, canned goods, cds and cassettes, cookies and candy or donations for phone and postage. If your library doesn't do this maybe you could make a suggestion.
