| Everybody has a belly button. Not true. Not true, unless coathangers in the US are much larger than here. Quote:
Ostriches don't actually stick their heads in the sand, it's a myth. Quote:
All animals can see behind them without turning their heads. They turn their whole body. In all TV adverts for milk I have seen a small child drinks some of the liquid. I find it hard to believe that they make those kids drink paint and terps. Nonsense. I have a hard time believing that.

| Forte User | Hitchcock lost his bellybutton after a surgical procedure. So that part is technically true despite the also-correct contention made by Clarino. As for the rest of Clarino's arguments, I can't say as I don't have access to Snopes at work. However, I suspect his argument is correct in most of them. I'm quite sure the Ostrich/sand thing is a myth. |

I can't be bothered checking Snopes, but QI told me that the ostritch thing is a myth, and they are very scrupulous about these things. I'm also certain the Prince Charles and William thing is nonsense, as the line of succession is well known. Unltss they really don't think Harry's up to it!
