Man... The high here in Phoenix was about 96 or 97 or so... I think the low was mid 70's...

Clarence... that comment of yours reminds me of the New Years I once spent in So. Cal. (even made a day trip down to San Diego to check out the Cabrillo Monument). Most notable (I thought) were the "persons recently relocated from further south" who were all out on the Newport pier, fishing....... wearing balaclavas, parkas and gloves! I was wearing a T-shirt, sandals and shorts... heck it was a toasty, warm 65 degrees!

Reckon it's all in what you're used to... the heat and humidity in Kentucky used to kill me when I had to make trips down there.

All you folks in the midwest.... winter is on it's way.

Hey, I am ready for snow anytime. I just had to spend a grand on a new Toro 8 horse. My old one bit the dust. And I live on a corner lot, so everytime the city plows, I get at least a 2 foot drift in my driveway.

C'mon, winter Snow Gods.............BRING IT ON!!!!!

No...actually I envy you. MN would be much nicer if it never snowed and stayed over 60 all winter long (and had no humidity)...

And to second Toot's motion -- Mickey is NUTS. Perhaps he wants to pay the huge triple-digit heating bills we're going to face, too.....
