US $9,900,500.00 for a used car!!! I know it was used on TV, and the car is famous, but I would not have given them $25,000 for this car!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge-Charger-Charger-R-T-The-General-Lee-by-Bo-Duke-himself-John-Schneider_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6199QQihZ015Q QitemZ250108256198QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVWQQtcZphot o

Re: US $9,900,500.00 for a used car!!! No way is that worth it. If you want something sweet, you might as well buy a high end German car, and still have money left to spend on more important things.

Re: US $9,900,500.00 for a used car!!! Well, it's not exactly like just going out and buying a muscle car, bluegill. It's a piece of Americana... an icon of a popular TV show and apparently the buyer will buy it if he thinks he can make a buck off it in about 10 or 20 years. People will pay outrageous sums for memories cum investments. ML

Re: US $9,900,500.00 for a used car!!! American histroy, yes. But $9,900,500.00 is still quite steep. I feel like something a little more time-tested and internationally recognized might be a better investment if his goal is to sell it.

Re: US $9,900,500.00 for a used car!!! It's beyond steep, it's ridiculous. My only point was that you made it seem like the buyer was just in the market for a car and bought a collector's item when a good Mercedes or BMW would have been been better. I'm with you, though. That's lunacy, spending that kind of money even for a TV icon. But, you know what they say: celebrate diversity, even the breathtakingly stupid kind. ML
