Manny Laureano has a spectacular aura about
VA Tech hero

FOXNews.com - Professor Who Helped Students Escape Among Those Killed - International News | News of the World | Middle East News | Europe News

This guy deserves his own thread. He survives the Holocaust to live in America and be shot to death while telling students to run as he blocks the shooter. May G-d bless his soul.

Yes, "hero" indeed. One who places the welfare of others ahead of his own even to the point of death.

Re: VA Tech hero

This especially hits home for me. My wife and I were talking about it this morning, as she was getting ready for school. She and the other teachers were talking about what they would do to protect their students, should something like this happen at her school. (They have a good lockdown policy/procedure in place, but we wonder in this case what good it would do...

But the teachers all agreed they would sacrifice themselves to protect their students.

I am crying too this morning......

I hope it never hits this close to home.....

God bless them all.

Unfortunately things like this seem to happen in 3's.

I pray that I am wrong.
