![]() | Re: Victor Borges Returns?? I didn't know Jackie Chan played the piano in his younger days......... I had the great fortune to open for Victor Borge one time, back in 1986 as a member of a swing band. Glad we played first, as he had us laughing so hard we thought we were gonna pee. I also think he had more raw talent than Liberace. |

![]() | Re: Victor Borges Returns?? Nice. Thanks so much for posting it. I remember my Mom and I, I was maybe 5, back in '62 laughing almost till we peed listenting to Borge on a little portable record player. I MUST get a Borge DVD and an Anna Russel DVD. Thanks, Richard Oliver p.s. I didn't even look at Mikey post. If you're young and don't know Borge, find him. He IS that funny. Last edited by Richard Oliver; 02-25-2007 at 03:26 AM. |

![]() | Re: Victor Borges Returns?? I guess comedy and high levels of musical talent in cohabitation. Mnozil Brass comes to mind. Yeah, all of you youngsters who might not know of Victor Borge should at least try and rent a DVD of him. Out of this world funny and very talented musician. |

![]() | Re: Victor Borges Returns?? I am going to do everything possible to get these guys booked at Orchestra Hall, Minneapolis. This is much needed in our business and now that Borge's gone and Schikele is only doing limited stuff I hope they gain a lot of exposure. Having said that, Schickele will be in Minneapolis next season. It'll be the first time in ages. ML |

![]() | Re: Victor Borges Returns?? There is also a video of him as an abusive piano teacher , which is funny , but kind of makes me glad I didn't study with anybody quite that rough.......
