WELCOMING THE NEW ECLIPSE DEALER USA

Hi All

I am extremely pleased to inform you of our newest dealer for Eclipse Trumpets in the US.

Trent Austin has for a good while been, and continues to be an endorsed artist for Eclipse and a fantastic ambassador for the company.

Apart from Trent's obvious skills of making them sound pretty cool, he also has a great understanding of other peoples needs when it comes to horn purchases which will be a great asset for anyone wishing to call upon him.

Great to have you aboard Trent

Best Wishes

The Eclipse Team

Woo-hoo! I guess I have to change my signature ;)!

Thanks again go out to Leigh who's really helped me cure my "trumpet jones". My wife thanks you more than you could imagine! Now when I get more horns it will be for "business!", even though every time I touch a trumpet it's fun. I'm in SERIOUS ITG withdrawal.

When I first moved to Boston to "make ends meet" I worked at Osmun Music in sales. In fact I bet I sold a few people on TM their Al Cass Oil, Schmid Triple Horns (think trumpets are expensive?), PVA's, and many other items . Working at the ITG made me realize how much I miss that one-on-one relationship with a product I truly believe in 100%. I love these horns so much it's a true joy to be able to represent the company on another "side"! The fact that I have a very intimate relationship with my instruments on a professional nature really will help working with future clients.

I'm really excited to have the great opportunity not only to play the horns a wee bit ;) but to have them to display and market towards the trumpet community. In fact I've been working all day on my new site (I put a "cheesy" welcome page for people to check out) and it will be up in the next week or so.

For anyone who's interested the URL will be http://www.austincustombrass.com. You can also email me directly at austincustombrass@gmail.com (temporary email until the new site is complete).

Because of my love of the Eclipse trumpets these will be the only brass instruments I'll sell. I'm actually working on designing and introducing a line of trumpet mouthpieces as well (which is very cool).

I also look forward to working with some of my good friends Bruce (without him I'd still be on horn "safari" and Felix (and new friend I'm sure Don at Braw Brass... I keep hearing great things about you!) to make your Eclipse transaction the smoothest it can be.

If you have any questions, please let me know!

I look forward to "talking shoppe" with everyone in the future.

Thanks again, Leigh, for everything. I can't wait to get started!

Best,

Trent Austin

Congrats, Trent. With your playing examples you'll do a fine job up there in Eastman territory. Heck, you aren't all that far from Montreal neither!

Thanks! have car, will travel! I'd love to schedule an Eclipse fest up in Montreal once I get my stock. I'll have 5-6 horns for people to try at least to start!

Best,

Now Trent - about those free horns you were promising on the last night of ITG - do I take it you are now in a position to deliver?

Congrats on the dealership
I am sure your service will be as great as your playing

Congratulations, Trent!

How about an Eclipse fair in Albany?...

In all seriousness...at Shaker HS NYSSMA solo festival (usually in May, I think...I judge that one alot) some of the area music dealers set up displays and "hawk their wares" so to speak to students, parents, teachers and judges. It's not really that far from Mass, is it?

Also...when you get up and running, I go to Crane quite often...I would put a poster or 2 up on the trumpet studio boards if you sent me one or 2. (Feel free to stick a C in there, too! ha hah...)
