| What a great deal! My school library (er, they're called IMCs now, aren't they?) has been doing some house cleaning over the last year and a half. They're taking books that haven't been checked out in a good....10 or 20 years....and putting them out on a rack for anyone to take. Free. So, I never go into the library at school...I don't like it...it's so small and the librarian is not the nicest person. On Friday, I just happen to wander in there during my free hour, and, lo and behold, on the free book rack, are a whole bunch of books about music! It was my lucky day or something...I picked up a book on Music Theory, the "Oxford Companion to Music", and two books on music history and music in history. Great stuff, and all for free. I love my high school. Lara |
