What if you goof up on one post?

What if a person inadvertently submits a post that breaks a rule, such as forgetting to include "New York Trumpet Company" or "NYTC"? Of course that post would not qualify as a winning post, but does that mean that person is OUT regardless of whether or not their subsequent posts are properly submitted?

The answer to this question will free up my time (and for some others, I am afraid). A couple of times I have forgotten to include the magic words.

Re: What if you goof up on one post?

No the person is not out. But that post can not be the winning post. If it is an honest mistake it is no problem. If someone is posing to be a pain in the ass with no intention of winning then that person will be asked to stop or be banned.

You can edit the post if you like

Each post made in the forum should abide by the rules set out for the contestants in the first post in the contest thread.

Re: What if you goof up on one post?

Just to be clear.

"You must follow these 4 rules EXACTLY"

This means your first post must follow the rules exactly. All subsequent posts must follow the rules exaclty. The winning post must follow the rules exactly.

If for some reason you made an honest mistake while posting away and did not follow the rules exactly (most likely forgot to type NYTC or New York Trumpet Company) but your first post follows the rules exactly and the last post follows the rules exactly you have the chance to win if you are the last member to post.

Yay! Then I'll keep playing, even though my winning will be a long shot!
