| I'm sorry but there really are people in this world that are complete and total idiots. What a grand waste of time for folks that could be developing a talent during that time learning, oh gee, I don't know... music? Could you imagine what a gift it would be to have someone come in and teach those kids piano, guitar, drums... whatever, by ear. Who knows what you'd discover about a kid? Instead, some moron has them taking drivers ed. ML |

 | People complain about how wasteful school districts are. However, this is just one more example of at some point, some politician somewhere setting rules who probably never sets foot in a classroom. As teachers we just look at these things and realize that you might as well just take some money out back and burn it. |

| However, the saddest part is that some teachers somewhere in her special ed program didn't know or even worse didn't help her parents petition to change the curriculum for her. |
