what's up with the political banner ads?

I find them to be in poor taste, especially when there's a no political policy here.

Re: what's up with the political banner ads?

The ads are triggered by political words.

High, better, triple, sticky, fingering, slur, properly lubricate, inhale, support, blow, lips, receiver, mute, stand, heavy caps

We could reduce the ads by being less technical and more friendly and artistic:

colleague, musical, long phrase, daily routine, humble, well prepared, breath control, keep it in the case

I agree!! I'm sick to death of the constant political ads lately, and it's annoying not to have a refuge from them here! I know more about virginia's governatorial candidates then I ever wanted to know, and I don't even vote here! I am all for getting rid of them and sticking to trumpet related topics.

Switch to Firefox, install Adblock Plus. Problem solved.

It sounds like the OP has spyware running infecting his computer.

I'd recommend AdAware: Ad-Aware by Lavasoft - Antivirus software, free spyware removal, firewall

Re: what's up with the political banner ads?

I do not have spyware on my computer. It's scrolling up there on the google ads above.
