Wicked anyone?

Sometime this summer I plan on treating my roommate to see Wicked in Chicago . I've heard the soundtrack and it sounds incredible and I've only heard great things about the production of it. Has anyone here seen it there in Chicago or on tour? I'd like to hear your thoughts on it!

Re: Wicked anyone?

I saw the London production......
absolutley amazing!!!!!
The end of the first act just blew me away(defying gravity). The woman who played Alphaba(sp) was from the Broadway production and for such a small girl she had some serious power. It is now my fav musical.

I here its a great show. It will be around for a while i'm sure. The two trumpets that play it that are on the recording (I would assume) are Jon Owens and Tom Hoyt. Both those guys can play.

Re: Wicked anyone?

I'm actually taking my fiancee to Denver on Tuesday to see it. She has been wanting to see it forever, and I'm looking forward to it too.

Re: Wicked anyone?

Has anyone been to the Oriental theatre in Chicago? (I think that's where it's preformed.) Where are the best seats for the dollar?

I was immediately impressed by the brass on the soundtrack; they get some awesome lines and chords in there! (< thats my fav. smiley so far!)
