| Forte User | Yale School of Music Tuition Not quite sure where to put this one; I thought this really insteresting and pertinant to some of the folks beginning to think about colleges (either undergrad or post graduate). http://www.nytimes.com/2005/11/03/ar...ic/03yale.html Could make a difference in some peoples' choices. |

![]() | For those of you who can't get into the NYTimes site... http://www.yale.edu/music/concerts/N...0.28_gift.html I have a few friends there who will graduate this year and have the unfortunate designation as "the last class to pay for a Yale music degree." Oh well. -Jimi |

![]() | Glenn, The Yale School of Music only grants graduate degrees. Undergrads attend the music department of the university, and I'm sure normal Yale tuition will still be in effect. Nevertheless, a wonderful development, wouldn't we all agree? EC |

![]() | J, Probably true. I know that Dartmouth has a 9 billion dollar endowment (Harvard's is 24!), and schools with that kind of cushion can well afford to find a way for qualified applicants to attend. EC |
