Ok, so...

I GOT MY ROOMING ASSIGNMENT!!!!

I got into the dormitory I wanted, into the learning community I wanted (performing arts), and I found out who my room-mate is! I just sent her an email. I hope that we get along!

I'm excited! I have my new address, my new phone number, and my new email account!

*dances around in happy, giddy circles*

I can't wait for college! It's going to be so much fun!

Some of my college roomates are lifelong friends. Some of them if they were to fall off a cliff tomorrow I wouldn't lose any sleep.

I never had the "College expirence" I chose a different path and went right out into the abyss!

Enjoy your time there. Oh and you may want to study every now and then.

All kidding aside...Lara, you're going to have the time of your life. My best freinds were all found in college. I'm happy you got the dorm and community of your choice...makes all the difference.

And when you finally graduate you'll look back and realize that most of what you learned wasn't from the classroom nor the textbooks! College is about life itself... social interaction, self knowledge, discipline. Hope your roomie and you have a great time and get along with each other; that's a major part of the battle won right there.
