This was sent to me -- I have no idea why???

vacancy for : Cornet/Trumpet
Auditions are arranged as and when required, are held at RAF Uxbridge and normally last over 2 days. There are no closing dates for vacancies, they close once position is filled.

Basic Pay is in the region of £15,400 for part qualified entry or £20,200 for qualified entry. Level of entry is determined at audition and is based on performance not qualifications. However, qualifications will help future career progression.

Bands are based at Uxbridge in Outer London and Cranwell in Lincolnshire.

That reminds me, one of my mates has recently auditioned for the RAF, must drop him a line and see how he got on.... and remind him to return my music to me!!
