You can do what the 'snow birds' do, stay one day in Michigan and then after the snow falls, leave to go toward the sun shine states. I'm from the city of Kellogg's Cereals, Battle Creek and I don't miss the rain nor the snow. I can get any climate here in just a few hours by car. You're from Colorado...Coors country? ![]() | I have fond memories of Michigan and particularly studying at the Interlochen Music Camp for the summers. I remember going to the high school section one evening to play taps with my friend playing the echo one half step lower. Ouch!! We both got chassed for doing that and caught. I remember meeting Schilke (the old man) who fixed my 1957 Schilke for free. He told me that he remembered making my horn in his basement. He wanted it back in exchange for a new one...............it was hard to say no. Liad Bar-EL |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Interlochen was great. i very much enjoy living in MI. I like the big city, I'm near Detroit, and I like all the season changes. Colorado is beautiful...it's just not for me. And NO ONE IN COLORADO KNOWS HOW TO DRIVE!!!!! They have a 75 MPH speed limit just so people can make it to 60 MPH...and it takes them 2 miles to get to that speed. They would be road kill in Michigan. Why did you emigrate to Israel? Were you an Israeli citizen? Do you play trumpet professionally there? Anything else you might want to share? Have a beautiful Chanukah! -cw-
