8335S versus 8335RGS

Anybody have experience playing these 2 models? I know the RGS has the reverse pipe and goldbrass bell. I'm wondering what the actual differences are in sound, intonation, and reponse between the standard Xeno and the RGS.

I prefer the RGS almost solely because it's a little more open blowing and not as stiff in slotting. They're both very focused sounding. The RGM (matte) has a little less edge than the RGS. I haven't tried a matte 8335.

Tonally, they're all very, very close, with the S being ever so slightly more focused. They're so close that you'll have a hard time hearing the difference from behind the horn.

Like I said, I prefer the feel of the RGS, but someone coming from a Bach 180-37 might prefer the S.
