adjusting

alright, i recently bought a stage one vintage, love the horn and felix vayser couldnt be more helpful, but since ive been playing, my range, endurance, and tone have plummeted. i was told that can happen with switching to a new horns. i was wondering if anyone had any excercises that would help adjust. if it helps im switching from a '70s benge mlp.

Re: adjusting

The Benge MLP is a big, open horn, the Stage 1 will take less air and be fore efficient. It will probably just take some time to adjust.

Re: adjusting

I guess I would do some soft lip slurs and flexibilities. Plenty of soft playing, you're probably just trying to put too much air through the horn right now.
