Re: Any one using Lawler tp?

I have just bought a C7 - have play tested many Lawlers [thanks to hose] and for me there were only 2 that I liked. For me this horn is the most versitile horn that I have ever played, it can be warm and mellow or very bright and have a "comercial" type sound, it all depends on your mouthpiece and how you approach the horn. for the money you would be very hard pressed to find a better horn. Roy has several models and your best bet is to try them or talk to Roy before you buy, like I mentioned earlier I only liked two of the many I played. there was nothing wrong with the others, they just did not fit "me". Re: Any one using Lawler tp?

I own a gold plated Model T and a gold plated Cornet, and had a silver plated T prior.

Roy builds a quality horn at a great price. Give him a call and tell him what your needs are, and he can put a horn together to meet your needs.

Re: Any one using Lawler tp?

lamgigi - I'm sorry, I am very fortunate to have a friend who has been a Lawler player for about the last 15 or so years and has been trying just about all of his horns. He buys them and I try them out, if it wasn't for him I would not have even heard of those horns until TH and TM. Great horns, fantastic build and super guy who makes them. Dave
