Any other places to sell?

Well...out of curiosity, does anyone know of any other avenues of selling a horn that I might not have thought of? I've listed it on eBay(will probably list with a lower price and longer auction later), on TM/TH, etc...I'm just wondering if there's another good avenue that I might have missed out on on the chance of selling my horn.

Re: Any other places to sell?

Might also try Craig's list.

You can do horn on consignment with Dillon's - don't know if they'll just post on their web site - I sold a horn on consigment with them - but the horn was in their store.

Re: Any other places to sell?

Ah yes...I had posted it on a couple of the close Craigslists also. The thing with consigning a horn with someone like them, I think, is that one, they'll charge you a 10-15% fee on it, and two, most have to have the horn with them, and I don't live near any of them, and three, there's no telling how long the horn will sit there...( I need it to sell in less than about 8 weeks...)

You might also try contacting local colleges and high schools. I know UNT has a trumpet exchange on their department web page. John Holt or Keith Johnson might possibly let you put it on there. When sellign a horn I have found word of mouth works better than internet sometimes.

As long as he stole the flats, no problem. The sharps, though--that is where we make the real money!

Haha, you know it! It's not my fault he never asked for them back. :) at least they didn't have to change the locks. And no, I'm looking to sell my Stage 1 California, VB--the same one that's on the marketplace.
