Anyone willing to sell me a rounded tuning slide????

Subjest says all. Can't seem to find one of these anywhere. I had one ordered from Selmer ages ago and I have given up on ever getting it. So if anyone has one they would like to sell let me know. I have a 180-37. Thanks!!

Did you at least get your money back from Selmer?

As for the rounded tuning slide, I think that you can get them from Blackburn and there is another guy online that sells them.

This is an online source for a "rounded" tuning slide, although it isn't going to be the single radius slide that I think you are looking for:

Hope that helps.

I might consider Blackburn but it is a bit pricey!! I certainly don't want some rogue tuning slide made by some guy in his basement. I definitely want something a little more authentic. As for my money, I just put a deposit down for it at a local music shop and I can get this back at any point. I didn't think Slemer did direct sales?? Anyway, hopefully I can find one used somewhere online. Thanks for your time...

There's one exactly like you're looking for in the "Marketplace" on TH.

What bore size?

ZeuS sells a single radius tuning slide for the Guarnerius (a Mt. Vernon Bach Strad replica).

Single-Radius Tuning Slides *****
round bend, single radius crook .470" bore

raw brass, raw brushed brass - $110
lacquer and brushed lacquer - $125
silver - $135

See: http://www.zacharymusic.com/Zachary_Music/NewZTR900.htm

A couple left in .464 bore.

Might be worth looking into if the bore size matches.
