| Attention Flip Oakes Wild Thing / Celebration Owners Attention Flip Oakes Wild Thing / Celebration Owners Not long ago I thought it would be fun to put up a photo gallery of the guys and gals who play these horns. As I have told many of you already, sometimes I’m asked ‘who plays your horns’, and my standard answer is: I really don’t know with the exception of a few, but the truth is most of you I have never met, or seen. So with this in mind, I would like to have the opportunity to get to know a little more about you, and I would like to post your photo, and some brief comments if you wish to include with a photo of you and your Flip Oakes instrument, being either a Bb Wild Thing or Celebration Trumpet, Flip Oakes C Trumpet, one of the Wild Thing Bb Cornets, or perhaps a Wild Thing Flugelhorn. If you would email me a digital photo something like a jpeg, or something in similar format, I’ll pass it on to my webmaster, and have him put on this page as below. I’m certain, this is something that will be fun to share. Wild Thing Owners Photo Gallery The truth is until just recently, I didn’t even know what Tom Turner looked like, and as you know he has been a very strong supporter of mine for many years, who I really have a great deal of respect for as a strong contributor on a few trumpet related sites, and on many topics as well. Also I have a fairly busy playing schedule, and I’m also traveling with The Titan Hot Seven, so if I should be anywhere near you, and you happen to be where I’m playing, please come up and say hello, I have had this wonderful experience a few times, and I’m always thoroughly surprised and taken back, when this happens. So please come up and say hello. Titan Hot Seven Wishing everybody a GREAT Summer!
