![]() | audition help Here is the deal i have a audtion in 6 months but my horn is being shipped and my mail takes forever to get where i am. this audition is very important to me and i need to start crunching on my audition materials. The issue is i have a low income and i have not played in one year and i am trying to make a comeback. what would be advised kind of trumpet can you advise that is affordable and gives good feed back. |

![]() | Re: audition help Is your problem that it will take a few weeks (or months) to get your horn delivered, so you want to grab a cheap horn locally to get in shape? If so, I'd recommend an Ambassador as well, but that's a horn that hasn't been made in over twenty years and there may not be any available in your area. Check the thread posted by Schwab for a list that includes late models. I have personally played an (Andreas) Eastman intermediate model; it was good for the price. One discontinued model that's not in that thread is the Conn 100B; I have one and it served me well but you probably won't see one.
