![]() | Bach Bell Markings - Registered "R" We’re looking to update our information related to the serial number in which the registered “®” symbol was added above the Vincent Bach logo on Stradivarius brass instrument bells. In addition, when Corporation was used in conjunction. http://www.bachloyalist.com/trumpet_...ered_Trademark Our current information is: Before Serial Number 131,XXX No ® above the "n" in Vincent Bach After Serial Number 152,8XX ® above the "n" in Vincent Bach We’re looking for an updated survey from fellow users on what serial number this was introduced. Please also comment on the bell model number (37, 45, …), and “Corporation”. Example data format below from recent eBay listings (provided with help from David). 47312 37* No R Corporation 55746 37 No R Corporation 68400 37 R No Corporation 70424 37 R No Corporation 75534 37 R No Corporation 83544 43 No R Corporation 854XX 43* No R Corporation 121192 37 R No Corporation 123404 37 R No Corporation 173912 43 No R Corporation 388483 43 R No Corporation 478532 43 R No Corporation In addition we’ve had smaller corrections, and fixes so please check them out. We are always looking for any information, images, electronic scans of old instrument/mouthpiece catalogues, etc. Send any potential information to admin@bachloyalist.com Thanks for your help in making our information more correct. ![]() | Thanks, yes please keep them coming. Yes, interested in any models of Bach Stradivarius bell markings (trumpets, cornets, flugelhorns) from that era. Again, PLEASE INCLUDE BELL MODEL, when you share. http://www.bachloyalist.com/trumpet_...ered_Trademark What is appears to be coming up is different bell models, had different times this was switched over (with quite a variation in the time frame). Example includes: Model 37 61824; No R; Corporation 68400; R; No Corporation Model 43 173912; No R; Corporation 388483; R; Corporation Please help us narrow down these ranges. Also other bell models are important to help narrow down if this was different on other models. Thanks again for everyone helping me reflect the most accurate information on the http://www.bachloyalist.com Last edited by BachLoyalist.com; 12-03-2006 at 08:05 AM. |
