Bach Strad Model Called "Artist LTD"

I have the opportunity to buy what is being passed off as a Bach Stradivarius at a tremendous price. However, my research does nogt show the "Artist LTD" as a Bach Strad. The bell has:

Vicnent Bach
Artist
LTD
Am I being conned (no pun intended)?

Sincerely,

Casterja

Where did you see this and what's the price? Perhaps the bell has just been switched from the original. Do you have a picture?

HA! Its possible, Bach does some weird stencil stuff sometimes, "Big Apple" trumpet, there is a Texas version of the same thing, they are basically ML 37s with something else stamped on the bell.

I'd be worried about the "Vicnent" part!

If you have photos it would help. When it doubt, if it seems too good to be true, it usually is!

Re: Bach Strad Model Called "Artist LTD"

There is nothing on the Brass-review site about such a model. I wonder if the LTD might refer to something UK? Look at the new post by GordonH on a Bach TR700 that is made in China that he has ordered in the UK for about $200 US. Brass-Review has one review of that one. Just a thought! More info is necessary.
