There is a manoeuver by those new employees and some unionised guys to de-unionize thus ending the strike by killing the beast that controls it, revoking its legitimacy. It's in the judiciary courts right now I believe. Whatever the end result may be, the working climate I fear will forever be changed. |

| Re: Bach Trumpets-where are they made today? The strike was about moving student horn production to China and probably other things too. The new Strads are still made in Elkhart, except the 182 model which is made in Eastlake, OH. |

| Re: Bach Trumpets-where are they made today? Although with scabs making the horns it makes one wonder what kind of quality is in these horns. Bach's consistancy was questionable to begin with what can it be now? Making trumpets as well as other horns isn't like most factory work. It does take some know how and artistry to really make a quality instrument. |

| Re: Bach Trumpets-where are they made today? Well some minor plating imperfections aside the function and playability of the two post strike horns I tried were better than the used ones of my band mates from the different era's. Built well and play great! |
