Bells...

I'm looking for a bell for my Strad LR43 and have absolutely no clue where to look. Blackburn sells A bell and they dont list the size or anything, so I was wondering if anyone knew where to look.
P.S.
Does anyone know any companies that can give me a satin finish?

Schilke will sell you the bells for their tuning bell trumpets. They're somewhat reasonable in price. I emailed Phil and he sent me a very long email with prices and specs. You can get his email from the Schilke site.

Zack,

You may want to talk to Leigh of Eclipse Trumpets. He uses several different bells when building trumpets. I'd ask him about the satin finish as well. Knowing where you are may help someone point you in a direction that is no too far from home.

camelbrass will become famous soon enough
Hi,

I happened to notice that Steve Dillard at Horntrader.com had some Bach bells advertised on his site. Worth a call at least.

Regards,

Trevor

I live just outside of St. Louis, but i wouldn't mind shipping my horn off to get worked on. I'm going to check out Eclipse. Thanks for the help.

Perhaps a new trumpet would work...Bach does have special combos and I have seen some on E-Bay before.

Try a regular weight 72 bell, those bells can produce an enormus sound.
