Benge 50 yr Anniversary Model

Anyone know anything about this horn? I was asked by a friend at band tonight. I don't know much about it. He said it was produced about 1979?

Any help would be appreciated.

Jim

Pretty much like a UMI Benge! I have a couple of LAs and a Burbank and it is so different.
A bit too tight for me but ok I suppose. Nothing spectacular.
The early Benges have a colourful sound but not this one.
Hope that helps!

Jim,

Sorry, after our long exchange in the other thread, I couldn't resist:

<How does it play?>

You kinda spit into the little end and push the button thingies down.

I knew I was doing something wrong. I kept blowing into it and moving the tuning slide, but it just didn't sound good. Maybe I was too laid back or maybe I have been playing bone for too long
